Where do TARA products come from?

Our raw plant ingredients are harvested from gardens and orchards around the world. We source plants only from their natural climate with optimal geography and high soil quality. These plants are then distilled in the United Kingdom.

 

Why are the prices of essential oils so different?

Essential oils may extracted from the flowers, leaves, stems, roots, seeds, or resins of the plant. Some components are more difficult to extract than others. Prices are affected by the plant component from which the oil is extracted and by the plant itself.

 

How should aromatherapy products be stored?

Most natural and organic products are affected by high temperatures, moisture, and ultraviolet rays. Exposure to these conditions may accelerate degredation. Please store your TARA aromatherapy products in a cool, dry place.

 

Is there an expiration date for TARA products?

All aromatherapy products have an expiration date. These are written on each bottle.

 

Can essential oils be used directly on the skin?

We recommend diluting essential oils with a base oil before applying it directly to the skin. With the exception of lavender and tea tree oils, other essential oils are too strong for direct application and may cause skin irritation.

 

Are essential oils suitable for everyone?

Essential oils are generally considered safe for most healthy adults. If you are pregnant, nursing, or suffer from a chronic disease, we highly recommend speaking with your healthcare practicioner before using essential oils.

What precautions should I take before using essential oils?

Essential oils must not be ingested or come into direct contact with your eyes. They are also flammable, so avoid using them around fire sources.

Everyone reacts differently to essential oils, so please dilute them appropriately and coduct a spot allery test to gauge your body's reaction before use. If you experience and discomfort after use, please stop use immediately and seek medical advice as needed.
